Hi!! Welcome to my blog!! My name is Mistilyn.  I’m a sinner who is saved by grace. I strive daily to honor Him with my life, but at times I fail miserably.  I’m still a work in progress, and thankfully He’s not finished with me yet.  I’m also an Ohioian turned Floridian. My family and I followed God’s leading to Florida in November of 2012, and what a crazy, wild adventure it’s been, but one that’s been more than we could have ever dreamed or imagined.

I’ve been married to my hubby, Jeremy David, for 22 years and God blessed us with two amazing kids, Mariahlyn, 20 and Mason Jeremiah, 10. I home-school Mason and it’s another adventure I would have never imagined, but grateful God called us into this arena. It’s beyond my expectations the joy it brings educating our boy and spending these precious fleeting times with him. It’s truly priceless!

I love to bake, cook, take care of my home, taking care of my little family, being at the beach, exploring and hiking, baseball, The Cincinnati Reds, animals, nature, creating lasting memories with my family, and taking care of our two spoiled female felines Audrey and Rey, and one spoiled chicken, Priscilla Mae. I also love to take pictures and I try to capture the “simple moments” because I know one of these days those “simple moments” will become extraordinary memories!!

I’m truly thankful for my life and the blessings my Heavenly Father has bestowed upon me, and most importantly I’m thankful for my intimate relationship with Him.  I know that He makes all things possible, for it’s because of Him I can “Joyfully Live the Simple Life”!!!
